15,120,000 seconds.

Forgive me for the "Rent" reference (ironically because I generally don't like musicals). 15,120,000 seconds, 252,000 minutes, 4200 hours, 25 weeks, 175 days, or 5 months, 24 days. This is the time from this moment until May 23, 2010. The day I receive my undergraduate degree, a B.S. in Industrial and Systems engineering.

This particular job/major was recently rated the number 1 career/job to have in the country by CNN/Money magazine. Needless to say the future is looking rather bright for me. Of course it took me 5 years of clawing my way up to this position in order to be looking into this bright future, but I guess certain things have a particularly high price.

I am starting this blog because I am on the precipice of a very poignant segway in my life. I decided to change my outlook of everything I had been doing and how I had been living on the single pivot point of this: compromise.
The biggest betrayal to oneself is compromise. So, in accordance to this, I will no longer compromise on anything I truly want in life.

Stay tuned, more to come of both the past and future.
